Eliphal
Eliphal appears once in scripture, listed among David's mighty men in the Chronicler's roster.
One of David's Warriors
The list in 1 Chronicles 11 names David's elite soldiers tribe by tribe, family by family. Toward the end of the catalogue the names move quickly past the Hararites and on to the next group: "Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the son of Ur, Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite" (1Ch 11:35-36).
Eliphal is identified only by his father's name — Ur — and by his standing among the men listed in the Chronicler's parallel to David's roll of warriors. No exploit of his own is recorded.
