Ephrath

Ephrath is a variant spelling of Ephratah, the ancient name of Beth-lehem-judah, and is also borne by the second wife of Caleb who was mother of Hur. The biblical record uses the name in genealogies and in geographic notices that anchor the town later known as Beth-lehem to its older designation.
