Ethni

Ethni appears once in scripture, named in the Levitical genealogy that traces the ancestry of Asaph the singer.

An Ancestor of Asaph

The Chronicler reaches back through Asaph's forebears generation by generation. Ethni stands among them: "the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah," (1Ch 6:41). His place in the chain links Zerah and Adaiah within the line that the Chronicler is building toward Asaph; no further detail about Ethni is given.
