Ezri
Ezri is one of David's appointed officers, named once in the administrative roster that closes the Chronicler's account of David's reign. He has charge of the labor that worked the king's open ground.
Overseer of the field-tillage
The roster names him by office and by parentage: "And over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub" (1 Chr 27:26). The administrative section in 1 Chronicles 27 lists in turn the officers over the king's treasuries, storehouses, vineyards, herds, flocks, and so on; Ezri's portfolio is the tillage of the open ground — the field-crop labor force. Nothing else is recorded of him.
