Gaddiel

Gaddiel son of Sodi appears once in the muster of the twelve scouts sent into Canaan. He stands for the tribe of Zebulun in that delegation.

The Zebulun Spy

The roster of scouts pairs each tribe with its chosen man, and the Zebulun line of the list is brief: "Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi" (Num 13:10). The verse supplies the patronymic — Sodi — and fixes Gaddiel's tribal place as the Zebulun representative in the scouting party.
