Gamul

Gamul appears once, named as the head of one of the priestly divisions assigned by lot under David.

The Twenty-Second Priestly Lot

The roster of priestly courses runs through twenty-four lots, and Gamul stands near the end of the list: "the one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul" (1 Chr 24:17). The twenty-second lot is his, placing his house among the priestly divisions ordered for service in David's organization.
