Giddalti

Giddalti is one of the sons of Heman, named in the rosters that organize the temple musicians under David.

A Son of Heman

He appears in the family list of Heman's sons: "Of Heman; the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth" (1Ch 25:4).

Head of the Twenty-Second Division

When the singers are organized into twenty-four courses by lot, Giddalti receives the twenty-second division: "for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve" (1Ch 25:29). Like every course in this list, his draws twelve members — his sons and brothers serving with him.
