Gispa

Gispa, whose name appears in UPDV as Gishpa, is named once, as one of two men set over the temple-servants who lived in Ophel after the return from exile.

Overseer of the Temple-Servants

In the roster of those resettled in Jerusalem, the temple-servants are placed in the southern spur of the city: "But those given [to temple service] dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gishpa were over those given [to temple service]" (Neh 11:21). Gishpa stands second to Ziha as joint supervisor of this group. Nothing further about him is preserved.
