Goah

Goah is a place near Jerusalem mentioned in Jeremiah's vision of the city's future restoration and expansion. Jeremiah 31:39 records: "the measuring line will go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and will turn about to Goah." The verse describes the boundary of the restored city extending past Gareb and turning toward Goah.

The name appears only at this verse in UPDV, which uses the spelling Goah rather than the older form Goath. The exact location of Goah is not known.
