Hakkatan
Hakkatan is named in scripture only as the father of Johanan, one of the heads of households who joined Ezra's return from Babylon.
Father of Johanan
When Ezra musters those who will travel with him from the river Ahava to Jerusalem, the roster names the leader of each company together with the size of his contingent. Hakkatan's son represents the house of Azgad: "And of the sons of Azgad, Johanan the son of Hakkatan; and with him a hundred and ten males" (Ezr 8:12). Hakkatan himself is not said to have made the journey; he is preserved in the record because his son led a hundred and ten men back to the land.
