Harhaiah
Harhaiah appears once in the text, named only as the father of Uzziel, one of the workers who rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem under Nehemiah.
Father of Uzziel the Goldsmith
In the roster of those who repaired sections of the wall, Uzziel is identified by his father's name and by his trade: "Next to him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths. And next to him repaired Hananiah one of the perfumers. And they left Jerusalem as far as the broad wall" (Neh 3:8). The patronymic places Harhaiah within the guild of goldsmiths whose sons took up a portion of the rebuilding work.
