Hassenuah

Hassenuah is a Benjamite ancestor named in two post-exilic lists. The genealogy of 1 Chronicles records "Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah" among the Benjamites who settled in Jerusalem (1 Chr 9:7). The resettlement list in Nehemiah names a descendant: "Judah the son of Hassenuah was second over the city" of Jerusalem (Neh 11:9). Older versions spell the name "Senuah" (without the definite article prefix).
