Heleph
Heleph is a town in the inheritance of Naphtali, named once as the starting point of the tribe's border survey.
Naphtali's Border Begins at Heleph
The allotment description for Naphtali traces a line from west to east across the upper country: "And their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, and Adaminekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum; and the goings out of it were at the Jordan" (Jos 19:33). Heleph is the first named anchor of the line, paired with the landmark oak in Zaanannim, and the survey runs from there through the inland sites until it ends at the Jordan.
