Hod

Hod appears once in scripture, as a name in an Asherite genealogy.

A Son of Zophah

The Chronicler's list of the line of Asher introduces the family of Zophah and then runs out his sons across two verses: "The sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah, Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera" (1 Chr 7:36-37). Hod stands seventh in the run. There is no further description, no episode, no role assigned — only a name carried in the genealogical record of Asher.
