Hodesh

Hodesh is named once, in the Benjaminite genealogy of Shaharaim. The verse identifies her as his wife and lists the four sons she bore him.

Wife of Shaharaim

The Chronicler sets the scene a verse earlier: "And Shaharaim begot children in the field of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives" (1 Chr 8:8). Two prior wives have been dismissed. The next verse turns to a further wife and her offspring: "And he begot of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam" (1 Chr 8:9).

The whole notice she receives is that one verse — wife of Shaharaim, mother of four named sons in the Benjaminite line.
