Huri

Huri is named once, as a link in the Gadite genealogies of 1 Chronicles.

Father of Abihail

He stands one generation above Abihail in the line traced from Buz through Gilead: "These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz" (1Ch 5:14). The chain places Huri among the leaders of the tribe of Gad whose households settled in Bashan, but no further details about him are recorded.
