Imri
The umbrella collects two men named Imri, each named once in postexilic genealogies.
A Forebear of Uthai of Judah
The Chronicler's roster of Judahites who returned to Jerusalem traces Uthai's line back four generations: "Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the sons of Perez the son of Judah" (1Ch 9:4). Imri stands in the chain between Omri and Bani, in the line of Perez.
Father of Zaccur the Builder
In the wall-building register of Nehemiah, Imri is named as the father of one of the workers stationed near the men of Jericho: "And next to him built the men of Jericho. And next to them built Zaccur the son of Imri" (Ne 3:2). Imri is identified only by his son's place on the wall.
