Irpeel

Irpeel is a town allotted to the tribe of Benjamin in the Joshua land distribution.

A Town of Benjamin

The town appears once, in the boundary list that fixes Benjamin's inheritance. It stands between Rekem and Taralah in the inland cluster: "and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah," (Jos 18:27). The verse identifies the place by name only; no inhabitants or further history are attached to it.
