Ishmaiah
Ishmaiah appears once, named as the tribal officer over Zebulun in David's administrative organization.
A Prince of Zebulun
The roster pairs each Israelite tribe with its appointed leader. Zebulun's place in the list is filled by Ishmaiah: "of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel:" (1Ch 27:19). His patronym — son of Obadiah — is the only further identification given. The structure is purely administrative: a list of tribal officials parallel to the company commanders and royal officers detailed elsewhere in the chapter.
