Ishpan

Ishpan appears once, in the Benjamite roster preserved in the chronicler's genealogies.

A Chief Benjamite

He is named among the sons of Shashak: "and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel" (1 Ch 8:22). The list closes by identifying these men as "heads of fathers' [houses] throughout their generations, chief men" who "dwelt in Jerusalem" (1 Ch 8:28). Nothing further is recorded of him.
