Ittah-Kazin

Ittah-kazin is a landmark on the eastern boundary of Zebulun's allotment. UPDV writes the name "Eth-kazin."

A Boundary Point of Zebulun

The setting is the third lot: "And the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families; and the border of their inheritance was to Sarid" (Jos 19:10). Tracing east from Sarid, the line moves to Daberath and Japhia (Jos 19:12), and then "from there it passed along eastward to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin; and it went out at Rimmonah stretching to Neah" (Jos 19:13). The closing summary names the whole as "the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages" (Jos 19:16).
