Jaakobah
Jaakobah appears once, embedded in a Simeonite roster of clan leaders preserved in 1 Chronicles 4. He is one of "these mentioned by name" who "were princes in their families" (1Ch 4:38) during the period when Simeon's tribal houses "increased greatly" and pressed outward in search of pasture.
A Prince of Simeon
The list runs from 1Ch 4:34 through 1Ch 4:38 and gathers thirteen names with a closing summary. Jaakobah stands among the second cluster: "and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah" (1Ch 4:36). The passage names no acts and tells no story about him; the chronicle preserves only his standing among the Simeonite princes whose households grew large enough to require new territory.
