Jamlech
Jamlech is named once in scripture, in the roster of Simeonite chiefs preserved in Chronicles.
A Simeonite Prince
The Chronicler turns from Judah to Simeon at the start of the section (1Ch 4:24) and gives the descendants their genealogy. Jamlech appears in the second verse of the named list: "And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah" (1Ch 4:34). The roster runs through verse 37 and is then summarized: "these mentioned by name were princes in their families: and their fathers' houses increased greatly" (1Ch 4:38). Jamlech contributes nothing further beyond this — he is one of the named heads whose fathers' houses grew strong in Simeon.
