Jaresiah
Jaresiah — rendered Jaareshiah in UPDV — is one of the sons of Jeroham listed in the Benjaminite genealogy. He appears in a single verse, named alongside his brothers as part of the Chronicler's catalogue of clan heads who settled in Jerusalem.
Son of Jeroham
The roster of Benjamin's chiefs in Jerusalem closes with three sons of Jeroham: "and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham" (1Ch 8:27). The verse stands at the end of a sequence that traces the heads of fathers' houses in Benjamin, locating Jaareshiah among the leaders whose households are tied to the city. Nothing further is recorded of him; he is preserved only as a name in this list of Benjaminite descent.
