Jecamiah
Jecamiah — written Jekamiah in the UPDV — is one of the seven sons listed for the exiled king Jeconiah in the Davidic genealogy of 1 Chronicles. The name appears once and carries no narrative material; its weight is genealogical, preserving the line of David through the Babylonian deportation.
A son of Jeconiah in the exilic line
The Chronicler enumerates the sons of "Jeconiah, the captive": "and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah" (1Ch 3:18). Jekamiah stands fourth in the sequence, between Shenazzar and Hoshama. The verse fixes him within the post-deportation generation of David's house, the seedbed from which the line continues to Zerubbabel and beyond. The single mention is the whole record of him.
