Jehud

Jehud appears in the city-list that defines Dan's inheritance after the seven-tribe land division: "and Jehud, and Azor, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon" (Jos 19:45). The verse names it as one in a short string of Danite towns, with no further description; its placement among Azor, Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon situates it in the coastal-plain cluster of Dan's allotment.
