Jemima

Jemima — UPDV "Jemimah" — is the eldest of the three daughters born to Job in his restoration, named at the close of the book of Job.

The First Daughter of Job's Restoration

After Yahweh restores Job's fortunes, the narrator records the names of his three daughters: "And he called the name of the first, Jemimah: and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch" (Job 42:14). Jemimah stands at the head of the list — the eldest of the three — and is the first of Job's restored children to be named.
