Jeremoth
Three men named Jeremoth appear in the post-exilic genealogies and reform lists: a Benjamite, a son of Elam, and one of the family of Zattu.
A Benjamite
In the Benjamite family record, Jeremoth is listed alongside Ahio and Shashak: "and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth," (1Ch 8:14).
Of the Sons of Elam
In Ezra's record of those who had married foreign wives, Jeremoth is named among the sons of Elam: "And of the sons of Elam: Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Elijah" (Ezr 10:26).
Of the Family of Zattu
A second Jeremoth in the same chapter is counted among the sons of Zattu: "And of the sons of Zattu: Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and Aziza" (Ezr 10:27).
