Jeribai

Jeribai is one of David's mighty men, named in the closing portion of the warriors' roll in 1 Chronicles.

A Son of Elnaam Among David's Warriors

The list pairs him with his brother and gives the patronymic: "Eliel the Mahavite, and Jeribai, and Joshaviah, the sons of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite," (1Ch 11:46). Jeribai and Joshaviah are identified together as "the sons of Elnaam," and they appear among the foreign-named and outlying figures grouped at the end of David's warrior list — set alongside Eliel the Mahavite and Ithmah the Moabite.
