Jeriel
Jeriel is one of the six sons of Tola named in the Issacharite genealogy, identified there as a clan-head and warrior.
A Son of Tola, Head of a Father's House
The verse names him third in the sequence and groups all six under a single description: "And the sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, [to wit,] of Tola; mighty men of valor in their generations: their number in the days of David was two and twenty thousand and six hundred" (1Ch 7:2). Jeriel is therefore not only a name in the line but the head of a father's house within Tola's clan, counted among the warriors mustered out of Issachar in David's day.
