Jerusha
Jerusha is the queen mother of Jotham king of Judah, named in the regnal notice that opens his reign and identified by her father.
Mother of Jotham
The Kings notice gives her name and patronymic: "He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok" (2Ki 15:33). Chronicles repeats the same data with the longer spelling "Jerushah": "Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok" (2Ch 27:1). The two notices together fix her position — daughter of Zadok, mother of a king who reigned sixteen years.
