Jorah
Jorah is the head of a clan recorded among those who returned from the Babylonian captivity under Zerubbabel.
A Returned Exile
The Ezra 2 register opens by setting the historical frame: "Now these are the sons of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city" (Ezr 2:1). The leaders of the company are then named — Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, and others (Ezr 2:2).
Within the tally that follows, Jorah's house is counted among the returnees: "The sons of Jorah, a hundred and twelve" (Ezr 2:18). The total fixes the size of his clan at the moment of return; nothing further is said about him personally.
