Jorkoam
Jorkoam — spelled Jorkeam in UPDV — appears once in the Calebite genealogy of 1 Chronicles 2, where the name marks a single father-son link in the line of Hebron's descendants.
A Calebite Line
The chronicler is tracing branches that descend from Caleb through Hebron and his sons. Within that genealogy, one notice runs: "And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begot Shammai" (1Ch 2:44). The phrase "the father of Jorkeam" identifies Raham by his offspring; whether the name labels a person, a settlement associated with the family, or both is left unstated. No further reference attaches.
