Kinah

Kinah is a town in the southern district of Judah, mentioned only in the catalogue of cities given with the tribal allotment.

A Town in Southern Judah

The name appears in the long city list that follows the boundary description of Judah: "and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Aradah," (Jos 15:22). The verse places Kinah among the southernmost towns of the inheritance, grouped with Dimonah and Aradah toward the desert frontier of Judah.
