Laadah
Laadah appears once, in the genealogy of Shelah son of Judah, where he is named as the father of Mareshah.
A Descendant of Shelah
The Chronicler's list of Judah's line through Shelah names Laadah among the sons: "The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of those who wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea" (1Chr 4:21). The verse anchors Laadah within a clan of linen-workers, placing him in a Judahite line known for that craft.
