Lahad

Lahad is named once in the Chronicler's genealogies of Judah, where he stands among the families of the Zorathites.

A Son of Jahath

The line runs from Shobal through Reaiah and Jahath: "And Reaiah the son of Shobal begot Jahath; and Jahath begot Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites" (1Chr 4:2). Lahad is the brother of Ahumai, and the closing note classes the pair among the Zorathite clans of Judah.
