Lappidoth

Lappidoth is identified in Judges 4:4 solely as the husband of Deborah the prophetess: "Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, she judged Israel at that time." UPDV preserves this spelling throughout.

Nothing further is recorded about Lappidoth in the UPDV text. His name appears only in this single verse as part of Deborah's introduction before her role in summoning Barak and directing the defeat of Sisera (Jdg 4:6–16).
