Linus
Linus is named once, among the Roman Christians whose greetings Paul forwards to Timothy from prison.
A greeting from Rome
In the closing lines of his last letter to Timothy, Paul urges him to come quickly and then passes on greetings: "Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers" (2Tim 4:21). Linus appears in this short list of named believers at Rome, alongside Eubulus, Pudens, and Claudia, and gathered with "all the brothers" who send their greetings through Paul.
