Maadai
Maadai is named once in scripture, in the list of returned exiles in Ezra's day who had taken foreign wives.
A son of Bani
Among the sons of Bani enrolled in Ezra's roster, Maadai stands at the head of his sub-group: "Of the sons of Bani: Maadai, Amram, and Uel" (Ezr 10:34). The chapter records the men of Israel who had married foreign women and who, after Ezra's confrontation in the assembly, agreed to set the matter right (Ezr 10:10-12). Maadai's name belongs to that list, with no further detail given about him beyond his lineage.
