Madmenah

Madmenah is named once in scripture, in Isaiah's vivid sketch of an invader's approach to Jerusalem from the north.

A town in flight

Isaiah lists town after town being thrown into panic as the enemy advances. Among them: "Madmenah is a fugitive; the inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety" (Isa 10:31). The town's people are pictured running, paired with neighboring Gebim whose inhabitants likewise flee.
