Makheloth
Makheloth is one of the wilderness camps in the itinerary of Israel's journey out of Egypt, named only at the point of arrival and the point of departure. Two consecutive verses fix it between Haradah and Tahath: "And they journeyed from Haradah, and encamped in Makheloth. And they journeyed from Makheloth, and encamped in Tahath" (Nu 33:25-26). Nothing further is recorded of the place — no event, no description — only its position in the chain of stages.
