Malluchi

Malluchi is a priestly family represented in the list of priests and Levites who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel and Joshua. Nehemiah 12:14 records the head of this family during the high priesthood of Joiakim: "of Malluchi, Jonathan." UPDV uses the spelling Malluchi throughout.

The list in Nehemiah 12 names the leading priests of each family for the generation following the return. Malluchi's representative, Jonathan, is otherwise unattested in the text.
