Medan
Medan is named as one of the six sons born to Abraham by Keturah, listed both in the Genesis notice of Keturah's offspring and in the parallel Chronicler genealogy.
A Son of Abraham and Keturah
The Genesis notice gives the bare list: "And she bore him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah" (Gen 25:2).
The Chronicler restates the same six sons, naming Keturah as Abraham's concubine and continuing the line through Jokshan: "And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan" (1 Chronicles 1:32).
In both places Medan stands between Jokshan and Midian in the order of brothers, and no descendants of Medan are listed beyond the name itself.
