Melech
Melech is named twice, both times in parallel Benjaminite genealogies that list him among the sons of Micah, descendant of Saul through Jonathan and Merib-baal.
Son of Micah
The first list reads: "And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz" (1Ch 8:35). The parallel notice gives the same line with a small variation in the third name: "And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, [and Ahaz]" (1Ch 9:41). Melech holds the second slot in both lists, his identity fixed by the four-brother set rather than by any independent narrative.
