Meshullemeth

Meshullemeth is the queen mother of Amon, king of Judah — the wife of Manasseh and the daughter of Haruz from Jotbah.

Queen Mother of Amon

She is named once, in the formal regnal notice that opens Amon's reign: "Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah" (2Kgs 21:19). The notice gives her father's name (Haruz) and her place of origin (Jotbah), the standard pattern by which the kings of Judah are introduced through their mothers.
