Middin

Middin is a town listed once in scripture, among the wilderness settlements assigned to the tribe of Judah.

A Town in Judah's Wilderness

The allotment of Judah closes with a cluster of small settlements grouped under the heading "In the wilderness." Middin appears in this group: "In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah" (Jos 15:61). The placement situates it among the desert sites east toward the Dead Sea, paired with Beth-arabah and Secacah in the same enumeration.
