Minni

Minni is a kingdom named once in scripture, summoned alongside Ararat and Ashkenaz in Jeremiah's oracle calling the northern peoples against Babylon.

A Northern Kingdom Summoned Against Babylon

The single appearance comes inside the long oracle of Jeremiah 50-51. As the prophet calls the nations to muster, three kingdoms are named together:

"Set⁺ up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz: appoint a marshal against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough cankerworm" (Jer 51:27).

Minni stands inside the trio with Ararat and Ashkenaz — northern peoples mustered as Yahweh's instrument against Babylon. The text gives no further detail about Minni beyond its place in this triad.
