Naarah
Naarah is a wife of Ashhur, the father of Tekoa, named in the Judahite genealogies of 1 Chronicles. She appears in a brief notice of Ashhur's household, paired with a second wife and listed with her own four sons.
A Wife of Ashhur
The Chronicler's record introduces Ashhur with two wives: "And Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah" (1Ch 4:5). Naarah's sons are then named in their own line, with the list closed by repeating her name: "And Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah" (1Ch 4:6).
