Nazarene

Nazarene is the gentilic title attached to Jesus throughout the gospels and Acts, identifying him with the Galilean village in which Joseph and Mary settled and where he was raised. The same designation passes from Jesus himself to those who follow him, marking out the early movement by the place its founder called home.
