Nebushazban
Nebushazban was a senior Babylonian officer who participated in the release of Jeremiah from Jerusalem after the city's fall. UPDV names him among the royal commanders dispatched for that purpose: "Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushazban, Rab-saris, and Nergal-sharezer, Rab-mag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon" (Jer 39:13). His title Rab-saris identifies him as the chief court official. He appears only in this context in UPDV.
